Here's my mate's Datsun with a brand new coat of paint.

SB800 was in wireless mode from in front of the car.

Love the car!

My comments would be if you were to take this photo again. More even coverage of the flash specially down the side. At this point I am only drawn to the front of the car. You may be able to do something with layers in PS with this image though if you are so inclined to even up the exposure a little.

The other thing I would do is remove the plant from the front. The flash has really lit it up and it is distracting, unlike the rest of the background.

But I love the angle, with more even covering there'd be minimal reflections (even though there are now). Other than the exposure I really like this. Very nice colour choice for the vintage and style of car too!

The above comments about needing more light reminded me of this interesting post on dpreview.

What he/she did was set the camera on a tripod, shutter speed to 20 seconds, then ran around the car holding the flash and triggering manually. Interesting technique for those that only have access to one flash unit.
