While in NZ, I introduced Stubbsy to some local culture - and no, this had nothing to do with sheep
Speedway NZ style has a class called Stockcars - these cars are built for a combination of speed and strength, as they are allowed full contact hitting
Now, the major event on the annual calendar for Stockcars nationwide just happens to be held in my home town, in February. Guess who made sure our trip was timed to coincide with this?
Introducing Stockcar Teams Racing - where there are 2 teams of 4 cars, with the winner being first across the line. Full contact.
...and the crowd gets a good, close view....
