Alaska Airlines 737 in Yakatak and CORDOVA

One of the flights I took in Alaska was a hop flight that stopped to resupply local communities in Yakatak (only accessable by air) and Sitka (Most northerly ice free port)

You must have had a big time waking up that early in the cold grounds :shock:

hehe... It's not early!!!

That image was take at probably about 11:30am! Thats the far north for you... Golden hour most of the day (which is 10am-4pm)

It was about -18 degrees in Sitka

When we landed in Anchorage (more images to follow) it was -24!

reminds me of my years by the Great Lakes, ohhhh sooo cold, 6 months of the year :shock:
