Had a play with a bucket of water yesterday.

Next time will have the room darker so that I get less blurring on the drops etc.

And perhaps a black bucket to increase contrast?

I've got a black bucket for the next lot of shots actually.

Gotta refine the setup and make up a mount for the flash (off camera and bounced).

That is way too saturated on my monitor and does not appear to have much contrast. :oops:

You may need a faster shutter to completely stop the drop and a large DOF so you can get as much in as possible.

Most were taken at 1/500s and F16 (certainly the blue ones are).
