A couple of hundred metres down the road from home is a tree I drive past quite regularly with a bit of character.

Finally took the time to stop and get the camera out :D

Very nice.

I like the warm tones on th tree in the first one.

The reflections in the lake in all three are great as well.

Finally took the time to stop and get the camera out :D

What !! it looks like a great site to take photos. You should have done it ages ago

Those trees are popping up all over the place...you're sure they're not alive??

I'd like to think that I am responsible for those photos, in some small way, since you had to go and find a dead tree 8) 8)

Awesome stuff Mark, really.

James.

Thanks for the comments folks :D

As James has stated the subject for a comp on another site (Overlander 4WD) was "Dead".

I see this dead tree all the time hanging over the creek as it's only 200m from my house so I though perfect, that's the one. Just because it's dead doesn't mean it can't be picturesque. :D

The colour in these is simply stunning :). #2 is my favourite, but they are all great.

I like them all, but #3 grabbed me the most.
I love the colours and saturation like most people :)

I'm sorry Mark that you have to live in such drab surroundings... 8)

Seriously, these are tourist-magnet shots. I like #1 best, it has got the rhythm, and I'm a sucker for blue-and-orange pictures...

Cheers
Steffen.

#1 for me Mark.
They all made me sit up and take a breath. Great stuff.
