Footy's back! Swans v Pies @ North Sydney Oval

Well, I was rarin' to give the new 70-200VR a try at footy, so tonight seemed like a good opportunity. My old 80-200/2.8 performed brilliantly, so I was interested to see how the 70-200 compared.
The result - subtly better, I think. The focusing speed is a little faster, and seemed able to lock on a bit easier.
I'm quite pleased with most of my shots, considering the godawful lighting conditions at North Sydney Oval when the sun goes down. Most are 1/400 or 1/320 @ f/2.8, ISO 400-800ish (Auto ISO!!! It's brilliant)
The 70-200 is a little short for footy, but as long as the action is nearby and you are reasonably close to the ground, the results are pretty damn good.
