Birds at Murramurrang

I finally got around to PPing some shots from a trip to Murramurrang last December.

Taken with the 70-200VR. Some also with 2xTC.

The second shot is my favorite. The bird looks like its got attitude. I'd crop the left side by about a third though to reduce the OOF stuff in the foreground.

Just my opinion...and not worth the screen its printed on.. :)

#2 needs some serious red eye reduction! :D :lol:

It's the pick of the shots here, with a good low angle and background separation.

#1 is also good, but probably could do with a slight softening on the vignetting. I feel that it's a bit distracting, and overpowers the subject.

Nice photos ,greencardigan,
but for me the first one is the best, in fact IMHO is a terrific photo ,beautiful contrast between black and white.
If anything you could crop a touch in front,making the seagulls stand out more,just an idea :) not necessarily correct.

I agree that the vignetting may be a bit distracting. I might PP it again.
