Great shots Wendell (as always).

And I have to say that black lady (Emily or Sarah?) is absolutely stunning. What an amazing subject! (Not to detract from the other model who is a bit Scarlett Johannson-esque)

More great shots, very classy I like looking at your work especially the way you light your models.

One question though, if this lot are for the jewllery worn by the models I am not shor it works, (for me anyway) wouldn't it work better if the intended subject (the jewellery) was more prominant, I found I was looking more at the models, hair & cloths than the jewelery, it seems incidental to the rest of the photo.

But as far as the quality of the photography goes, excellent, top shelfe.

Cheers Rick.

Wicked! Love the 1st one. Don't suppose you feel like sharing how you lit that one? I recently did a shoot with a black model and in particular her hair was the killer.... It soaked up light like nothing I've seen, very diffucult to get some sheen out of...

thankyou everyone

rob nothing fancy

1 light from the left and one on the right
black hair has a natural shine to it she must of had matte hair
maybe from the hairspray

you can either wet the hair or use a waterbased glycerene to make it supple and wet, it's a makeup thing

otherwise insect repelent works a shine, i remember the makeup artists at hair expo saying how they got that sexy shine on hair and skin was to rub models with insect repelent

Rick your right overall it looks like an editorial shoot for a hair magazine
the jewellery does look secondary, i have soem shot where the jewellery is the first thing you see i guess i just post the most visually fashionable ones
