Slider - very nice shot with your new toy. Can even see the flash spot in the middle of his/her eye or is that just sparkle.

Thanks for the comments folks

This was more an exercise to see how the colour and sharpness turned out as the twigs in front of the bird detract from the image but I think I am going to enjoy this lens..
