A guitarist in a lakeHello,
fresh stuff!! ![]() I had the chance to take some photos of a friend of mine with his guitar in a lake. D70s + 18-70mm (kit lense) I'd love to hear your comments and your criticism. Thanks a lot, theodoros ![]()
Very creative, for me the halo glow around the guy is perhaps a little too strong, I think knocking it back a notch or two would make the image less over the top in a PP sense.
That said you have been delivering some creative and unique images recently so keep it up.
Fresh and original. Well done.

Theo, i like it and think this is very well done. Creative, simple but very effective and yeh this would make a great album cover of sorts and well this is not my type scene but i think it looks great. Well done love it.

this is an excellent example of strong concept and narative in an image
which makes this image more in depth than others without a cocnept and your execution of it is great but i seriously think the extra sepia tone is not needed, to me you would do it heaps more justice just leavign it black and white this image doesn't need extra tricks it's already fantastic
Many thanks to all for your kind words!
wendelt, i'll try a black and white edition and i'll post the results. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
Great photoNice work here...
Can I ask, Is the guitarist cut and pasted from another image? Is he actually jumping? Hard to imagine how he could have jumped that high unless he is a super basketballer?
Thank you surenj.
It is one photo. He jumped from the boat. I could post some more "jumping" images from this angle. I asked him to jump about 20 times ![]()
Great Photo Iposiniditos regardless which way you have PP'd it. Its always good to see such a great photo from the D70 and kit lens, it reminds me that you dont always need all the good gear for perfect photos. Mind you Im sure it helps
![]() Save writing another post, your Oxymoron set are great. Cheers Steve
