Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Holiday in Melbourne
Last week i visited Melbourne for the first time. I have wanted to go there for a long time and i finally had the chance. Its a great city. Very clean, great transport/road system, many places to see and great people. I will definately visit again soon. Armed with my Canon 30D and my new 17-55 2.8 IS I took many photos. I thought i might as well post a few of my favourites.

More seriously, LOVE the shot at Federation Square!!! The area can be a real eyesore, but you have complemented some terrible architecture, with city lights, and a marvel in the church on the left. (captures the unfinished jigsaw puzzle well). I am also a big fan of Flinders Street Station, shot at night (I've actually never taken a pic of it, must get down there on a busy night). Love its color with the traffic, and ghostly pedestrians.
