When ambient light demands it (without pushing ISO too far), I am happy with getting 1/20th sec at 70mm, or this example, 1/40th sec at 200mm!!!

When ambient light demands it (without pushing ISO too far), I am happy with getting 1/20th sec at 70mm, or this example, 1/40th sec at 200mm!!! Oh, and the subjects, two well fed animals after Chritmas Lunch ![]() ![]()
vr normal compensates for hand holding - thats slight movement
vr 'active' compensates for strong jolting movements like when your on a bus or on a boat most of the time you would have the lens set to 'normal'
