the second one is freaking awesome. love it.
the first - I'm not quite enjoying how dark the sky is.

I am on the opposite side. I love the darkness of the sky!!! It has a really dark vibe to it.

I like both of them, but the sky seems to be overdone to me... was that PP'ed or truely amazing polarizer??
And oh, I see dust bunnies on those images...

Thanks for the comments.
Forgot to mention I'm aware of dust bunnies. Sensor was extremely dirty that day. On lighter shots there are 10+ big ones.
I can't remember if I used a polariser or not actually. I think not.
Sky was brought out by a curve (as a consequence of getting the sand how I wanted it).
To give some idea, here is the original:
How about this version:
Or, just slightly more punchy:

I think that a little bit of brightness in the really dark bit in the top left would make it perfect. Still loving the slightly less pnuchy one though.
Greay work on it.

Maybe trying with the sand in the 'less punchy' version, and the sky in light blue, not dark deep blue...
Thats a BIIIG difference between the original and PP'ed versions!!
