Hey all,

Got to shoot some stills for a little indy flick due out next year. Here are the results. (dificult shoot as lighting was low as possible). Think Sopranos meets Cheers!

I'd say your second is the best.

But the others don't really have much of an interest.

The first is soft and the PP doesn't really save it at all, which is a shame since it looks like it could be a good image even with not-so-impressive composition.

#2 gives off a better mood to me. Probably the pick of the lot

Thanks for the comments (bar the first reply - which i dont think was extremely helpful at all - i am not reinventing the wheel with movie stills here, and its my first attempt, and i have many better shots).

Cheers

you made the actress look great in image 2, quite a nostalgic image
is the softfocus effect done in photoshop or is it an optical effect?

but i think the 1st one is more intruiging somehow
just need to watch that framing it would look better if the guy was slightly framed a little bit more to the right

Second photo is ace with the soft and dreamy look. I think the first pic would benefit as a portrait shot rather than landscape.
