Hi,

a couple of different ones.

The first one is taken at Lake Wanaka and I framed it with the lamp posts.

This one is a pub on the road leading to the Cardrona ski area. A few times that I drove by, it had lots of cars but I came back in the mid-morning when most people were still on the ski hill. Thought the b&w treatment would work for this one.

C&C appreciated.

cheers,

Andre like both of the, the framing of Lake Wanaki is good, though the scenery is so dramatic I would probably be happier without it. The B&W of Cardrona Hotel could be from 50 years ago

Love the impact of the first one Andre. Well framed and interesting. I might have cloned the yellow buoy out, but it isn't a big deal. I just gotta go there one day soon. Have to save up for a HUGE portable hard drive or something first.

Second one is great. I could sell that one for sure with a touch of sepia. :) Very nice all round.

#1 falls into the over composed category for me (must be an NZ thing  ), but #2 is excellent and suits the treatment. BTW When I first saw this image I thought the sign said Garlic Whisky :D

Probably was :D It was a popular one. When I was leaving the valley and drove in front of the pub, there was about 5 photogs with their SLR's.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Now for the next holiday :D :D

Cheers,

André
