Firstly welcome to the forum. It really is good to see someone post pics the first time they post. Great colour in both pics but would like to have seen a touch more in focus, i.e. a greater DOF. I assume this critter is behind glass 8)

Hi Lukaszek. Good captures. The first one looks as if the snake is about to strike and the second one has a great effect. I also would have liked just a tad more DOF in the first shot. Nice work.
Cheers,
Mick

Thanks sirhc55!

No it is not behind glass!!! It was just sitting on metal safety barrier. The light wasn't too good, next time I will take tripod with me. I see this snake almost everyday!! and one more bigger, but less colorfull!

Mate,

Welcome to the forum :D

Great two pics to start of with.

#1 Great pattern and I like his squashed head. As Chris said a tad more DoF...

#2 Great catch at the moment...awesome.

Enjoy your stay...its a great place full of photography nuts...

Cheers

Mike

You mean this thing - and an even bigger snake - are crawling freely in the wilds of Sydney's inner west :?: I've come across them plenty of times bushwalking, but never in Sydney's urban expanses unfortunately.

Thanks for your comment. I took both photos at the back of my office, which is close to Garigal NP and Ku ring gai NP. So, unfortunately it is not Inner West! :)
