I hardly thought of vertical composition for a landscape here, but it seems to have turned out nicely.

Harbour under moonlightTook this one on Sunday when out for a little walk around the botanic gardens for some pics. Instead of coming home with bunch of flower macros, I just headed this way for the late afternoon and post-sunset shots.

VERY nice Yi-p, the horizon police will be along soon though
![]() Oh, as much as I love kids/ppl, I'd clone them out on the left hand side. Geoff

www.colberne.com.au I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"
great balance of light..........

Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Great shot, love the colours and the subject. You could do two different crops, one with less forground and all of the sky, the other with less sky and all of the forground. Just a thought.
Horizon? Everyone knows it all downhill when you leave the North Shore. ![]() Craig Craig
Lifes journey is not to arrive at our grave in a well preserved body but, rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "Wow what a ride." D70s, D300, 70-300ED, 18-70 Kit Lens, Nikkor 105 Micro. Manfrotto 190Prob Ball head. SB800 x 2.
This is what photography should be about - the right time, the right place and most importantly, the photographer - love it.

Thanks everyone, I will straighten it up and clone the kids on the left side of the image when I get home.
I tried my best to tell (politely) all those tourist to give way in front of me, just happen that kids never listen ![]() ![]()
Ok, following being busted from horizon police so many times, I've got to make the changes...
![]() Horizon fixed, kids cloned out carefully. How about now? ![]()
Like the straightened / de-kidded version. Excellent work!
Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
