part 3

technically i bonked this one, it's underexposed in a bad way, but the setup pose is good though
bounce flash from side
Image

don't like the expression on this one, too cheezy, but the lighting is good
bounce flash reflected from a bluish room from the right, you can see the light is somewhat uneven due to the bounced light coming through the window seals on the right, it makes the lighting more interesting

this is the dress that won the Coser Award, it's not as intricate as the other garments but it has a certain cutesy selegance to it

better exposed shot, bounce flash from the right

I love the background details you provide on each shot - even if I never have a chance to do what you do, and barely take more than the occasional portrait, it's good that you provide little tips like this and show how it works.

I like the third shot - the dress and the model, and only a little afterwards do you see the hive of activity at the base.

The model in the first and last shots looks very, very thin - has the photo has been compresssed, or should we all be chipping in to buy her a happy meal, stat?

The shots look a bit grainy to me (around the chest area) What ISO did u use? I like you work Wendell keep it up.

The girl looks more skiny due to the height of her hair. That would excentuate sp? the body...

thankyou
i usually shoot at ISO800 manual shutterspeed and aperture for this sort of style and just hope the shutterspeed is set right i usually take 3 pictures to work out optimum exposure

i start off with 1/250 f4.5(sweetspot on my 28-70) ISO800 take pic evaluate it, if it's too dark/light I adjust shutterspeed accordingly
flash is usually1 meter away from model set on ttl

number one is underexposed, possibly i used a high shutterspeed out of sync with the max sync speed on the flash or the flash didn't fire prperly, or the surface the flash was bounced off absored most of the light, don't know what happened there
