This three days event was held at various locations across SE Queensland but I turned out just for the Broadwater carpark event on the Gold Coast.

The limitations of the Sigma 70-300DG were quite interesting. Knowing how soft it can be at 300mm wide open, I stoppped down to about f9 to get a bit of sharpness. However, that obviously increased the depth of field and instead of having a nice blurred background to make the car stand out, the background became almost a second point of interest. It made me think about framing and composition in different ways.

Cheers Glen. Yep, 14 of the best. I took about 300 over the two days but a lot of that was experimenting with panning - which is a lot harder than I thought!
