#2 is nice. The way you have caught the light on the rails is great. The dark figure at the end of the path creates a nice focal point, with a colourful sunset in the background.
I like it!

#1 doesn't relly grab me. Perhaps a slightly longer exposure would have made a difference.

I agree, #2 is great. Love the subtle colour change in the sky and the red in the foreground and on the rail.
