Lines in the sand

OK - this is my last thread from Stockton (I think!)...

Thought these were worth a look, and follow the same theme - so made sense to put on their own ;)

Remember - some of these were around sunset, so the colour of the sand really was changing :)

Black and White - the sand didn't change colour this much ;)

Any comments / suggestions on treatment most welcome :)

The colours and the composition of the second one really stands out.

The B/W doesn't do anything for me at all.

Leon

As I said to you when I first saw this, #2 is a superbly crafted shot.

#2 - Wow!
The composition is beautifully matched by the richness of the colour.
Love it.

Leon - I have to follow the others in proclaiming #2 a standout shot. Why? Because it is not just sand, it has a marvellous flow that the eye can follow.

What else could we all have picked but the second one

Great use of leading lines and curves Leon. The first is my favourite image of the bunch. It's more natural and shows that nature is capable of creating and displaying such gorgeous and exquisite forms.

Pity the bloody 4WD drivers had to destroy the beautiful natural art of the beach.
