This photo isn't really for critique but I was pretty excited when these fellas landed on the balcony of our recently aquired unit - they were so very tame. Yep, I look like s&^t but it was a moment I wanted to capture :)

Geoff,

Looks as if you have them eating out of your hand. :)

Great shot - Guessing Bel took it? Would have been a special moment. Now the real question is do you encourage them to visit for the photo ops, or discourage them for the bird shit that will follow?

I would suggest a Ronson followed by a No 2  They are cute fellas and kudos to Bel for capturing you at one of your more endearing moments 8)

I would also recommend not feeding them. You will get sick of the waking you up at 5am every day for their breakfast. Had neighbours who did that SOO annoying.

Cute shot, I suggest feeding them as it will create many more great photographic opportunities like this for us to look at on the forum and we don't mind if you wake up at five

Nah - a one (or two) off..
Don't want them to think it's a free meal whenever they want it.
Thanks for the comments ppls :)

Wait till they tell alllllll their friends.... your balcony's a lorikeet party in the making!!! In a previous abode I had 'em gatecrashing all the time... strutting in and out of the house and letting me know in no uncertain terms when the feed had run out.

Enjoy
