Nice stuff here Bob. I like the colour and the composition on both actually. No.1 is really good exposure. Highlights are not too hot even with the direct sun.
No.2 has great colour and texture and I like the extreme right hand placement of the man. "Rule" breaking is good sometimes. A week ago I came SO close to drowning my camera in the same spot. Interesting things around there. Not much I would change here really. A bit more action from the surfer maybe, but that wasn't your fault. Col Photography. The Art of Seeing, Not Just Looking
