Into the Light...

Another shot from an abandoned train.
The side windows were boarded up, so the only light came from the end of the carriage.
I like the effect the light has, it sort of draws you in to it.
Only converted to b/w on this one, no pp.

I remember catching those trains on the Northern line when I was young...
You can smell the stench. Good capture.

Great work Marty, I guess there really is light at the end of the tunnel.

I reckon you could get a really spooky shot if you had a silhouette of a figure in the light

Thanks for the comments guys...
This carriage really was that dark inside, and quite spooky.
It is located near Tempe.
A friend showed me the location of the trains and how to gain security access :wink: through a very small hole in a fence.
I believe the old locos are moved around occasionally to stop the vandals destroying them.
