Rel I prefer the first with the lines leading to the ashtray, but something is not quite right and I can't put my finger on it.

Strong image indeed Rel. I like the vertical one for the sheer upright strength of it. Dark, yet clear. No knocking this one at all. Subject is Bluh :evil:

but the photo is great.

I like to look deeply at photo's of this quality.

I've been crook with a flu/cold since Friday, and it's knocking me for a six ... so had the day off work. Was sick of bed by 12.30pm, so played with that damn tokina wide angle lens again

(Yep, and smoking isn't helping at all!!!!)

John - maybe it's just a crap shot? .. that would explain it?

These shots are completely different for me - I think they are the first 'grungy' shots I've ever taken ... fun

I know it would potentially work even better if it had smoke ..... could add it in I spose?
