A couple of shots taken while in Melbourne last week end.

I think the first shot works better than the 2nd, but I am a little undecided.

I think I fluked this last one, I don't normally manage to get any panning shots.

Dave - I agree that the first image has more power (and is better) than the first one...the simplicity of the shot combined with the contrast in colours is great!

Nice work on the 3rd one, but in this series the 1st stands out for me :)

Dave,

I'm wondering if a degree or two of straightening might help the first two.

The third one is quite obviously Brisbane though. :)

Thanks Geoff, and I agree about the third shot, I was just happy to get it!

Thanks Gary I had thought about that, I might attempt to straighten it later, it is a shame I wasn't paying more attention when I took the shot!

The first one definately is the pick of the bunch Dstrom. Where abouts did you take it from?

You're kidding, aren't you Gary? That vehicle's way too advanced for us!

Looks like a capture from an Amish red light camera; the driver seems to be of the opinion that if he can't see the red light, it can't see him!

(Yes... some will recognise the quote...daft as a brush but very ravenous...)

Thanks,

I think it was taken just off La Trobe St, near RMIT.
