Had a day in the city, just wandering around looking for subjects.
Went to the Rocks and grabbed a few, although I wasnt inspired as many of the older buildings are renovated, or have newer building right beside them.
Here are three from the Rocks..
All shot late afternoon with setting sun, so little light to use.

from The Nurses Walk....(I think)....

Somewhere else..
This is looking up through a roof/awning thingy..
The light through the holes is natural, they are over-exposed to give a better effect.

Marty - how much fun is it just walking around, taking it all in, on a beautiful day and photographing 'things'? There should be more time for it!! Out of this series I like the 2nd image the most, what PPing have you done to it? Some different elements in this, man made wall and corrugated iron, man made fire hydrant with a crawling crepper throughout - nice work.

The first two really appeal to me Marty.

I like the subject, the composition and the PP toning.

Thanks for the comments guys.
The pp for the first two was just playing with a second layer, nothing tricky there.
And to Geoff, I did struggle to get any shots I was happy with, maybe I was just looking in the wrong areas that day.
As always the web versions loose impact and detail.
Cheers
