Excellent capture, a good pose, and good use of DOF, my only negative observation is the red & yellow feeder which I find distracting.

I agree that the feeder is distracting, and maybe the shot is maybe a little soft (? - or could be my eyes/monitor), but great try !!!! Man I wish that we had hummingbirds here - you guys are really spoilt
If you are interested (and sorry for posting to another forum), a lovely guy called blackjack takes some superb photos of hummingbirds over on outdooreyes - may be worth a visit, and search for some of this other posts - he has given some great advice for capturing these stunning little birds
