Hey! I have never tried this treatment. Let me know how I can improve it.
This was taken at the Botanic Gardens in Sydney today. Sad old Obelesk.



For fun. Here is the Original.

Any comments? Is that good or bad? Im open to suggestions

The obelesk doesnt really stand out in this image. The out of focus tree trunk on the left hand side doesnt seem to fit well (in my opinion). Perhaps a lower angle may have helped the shot? The treatment looks fine to me, but the dark on dark makes the obelesk blend more into the background and not stand out or "pop"
