Brilliant stuff Barrie. Like them both but, as Steve said, the geometry of the first one makes it a standout.

I would reshoot the second one with with a cleaner background. They are good looking buildings. Very interesting architecture.

The lamp post in the dead center is a little annoying i have to say.....not much you can do about that though.

Bloody fantastic Barrie
These are both incredibly dramatic images with the clouds and all those lovely sharp angles.

#1 is really good with the bench in the foreground to lead the eye to the buildings.

Both are excellent pix, and in my view, #1 is oustanding.
Spot-on exposure, great composition, terrific colours. Well done.

I really like the perspective and the balance between the foreground subject and the background in the first image, great color too...
In the second image, I keep trying to look over the bottom of my monitor

No.1 is great. How did you manage not to capture anyone there? Was it that early / dead or did you clone them out?

Barrie,
Seeing these and other shots recently (including Slider's POTW this week), I'm not far off

. Just a matter of sorting out a few finances.
Great photos and so crisp and clear.
Cheers
