Brilliant stuff Barrie. Like them both but, as Steve said, the geometry of the first one makes it a standout.

I would reshoot the second one with with a cleaner background. They are good looking buildings. Very interesting architecture.

Keep posting images like the first one and im going to have to buy one of those lenses!

Nice work.

The lamp post in the dead center is a little annoying i have to say.....not much you can do about that though.

Bloody fantastic Barrie

These are both incredibly dramatic images with the clouds and all those lovely sharp angles.

#1 is really good with the bench in the foreground to lead the eye to the buildings. :)

Both are excellent pix, and in my view, #1 is oustanding.

Spot-on exposure, great composition, terrific colours. Well done. :)

I really like the perspective and the balance between the foreground subject and the background in the first image, great color too...

In the second image, I keep trying to look over the bottom of my monitor

No.1 is great. How did you manage not to capture anyone there? Was it that early / dead or did you clone them out?

Barrie,

Seeing these and other shots recently (including Slider's POTW this week), I'm not far off :D. Just a matter of sorting out a few finances.

Great photos and so crisp and clear.

Cheers
