A very bright moon last night highlighted by clouds. A little bit of double imaging at the base of the moon - I don‘t know how or why. I like this shot, knowing that it is technically flawed, but would appreciate the views of other forum members.

Chris - very different, but eye catching none the less. If I were to do anything to this image I'd crop a bit more off the bottom of the image. To me, there is a little too much black/dark at the bottom. Mind sharing with us how u took it? I.e exposure time primarily. It has a very surreal feel to it - the world spinning by. Thanks for sharing.

Taken with the 70-200mm Sigma at 200mm with 2x Sigma, D2Hs f/8 for 3 seconds, iso 200.

Cropped version:

Chris

Doesn't work for me, just a little too blurry. Guess that's why Leigh likes it (yes it's a cheap shot, but someone had to say it :D ).

I do think the crop works better though FWIW

Thanks Peter - I believe that the reason I actually like this pic is that it represents a time line. Admittedly it’s only 3 seconds but it shows (like a racing car) that although we see objects as static they are in fact in motion constantly. :)

I love it. You can almost see it moving across the sky. Would make a good stock image.

Cheers
