We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. High Key Lighthouse
I was looking through my less than spectacular shots from the darling harbour mini meet and started playing with this shot
the original shot looked the same as the other shots posted by Stubbsy and co. 
using Rawshooter pro I desaturated, boosted fill light, boosted exposure then played with highlight/shadow contrasts to bring back some of the detail then I moved to Photoshop for sharpening, resizing and border this post processing brought some grain with it... but I don't mind that comments etc. appreciated

 . I love the effect you've achieved, very unusual and original image. I'd be tempted to bring out the reds a tad more but that's just nitpicking.So join in the chorus, and sing it one and all!
