Some would pay a Photoshop expert to create a flare like that - it looks good in this shot, frams the subject nicely

You did get me thinking though, so I went back and checked the NEF. The flair is definately in the NEF. I don't know how to save a change back into a NEF.

Nice use of subtle colours, and the lens flare definitely adds something.

The lens flare wasn't intentional, but it's got me thinking.
I'm going to stack a few filters on and do some flowers backlit by the sun to try to induce some interesting flare.
An interesing challenge.
