Good use of the vertical format and great colours Big Red.

Wondering if you may have got a bit more impact by going down to the ground level and focusing on the series of jetties jutting out along the river bank. The image doesn't seem to have one point of focus - a bit busy perhaps?

normally I am not a fan of large areas of dark like at lower right, but in this case you can see something in it and it fades to light so I think it works well.

I can also see a pano crop of this which would work also,
cropping out some of that sky and some dark at the bottom.
I like it as is though.

It would even work with much of the sky cropped out too.

Love the colours, and the water texture (or lack of texture). Agree I would try a pano crop as well as this one. It's just a gorgeous time of day :)
