While at Steamfest 2006 we had a detour to Walka Water Works. I'm not sure about these first 2 shots. I'd be interested in views on the amount of distortion in the images because of the shooting angle. I've already done some perspective distortion correction on both.

This last one is some type of lizard (can't remember what), but he lives in the desert and has a fat tail that looks like a head. There was a reptile show for the kids so I took a few pics. Shot with 70-200 VR.

Peter Nice work.

My favourite is the first one, it looked possibly uneven, but I measured it up and the 'horizon' is dead straight, love the symmetry.

#2 Not as straight but pretty damn close, it reminds me of a bank

#3 Looks like a Shingle-back lizard to me, but I'm a novice.

I watch Discovery, National Geographic and Animal Planet too much

the Lizard does indeed look like a Shingleback... relative of the bluetongue.. which would mean its a part of the skink family?

I agree with Craigs 1st 2 comments aswell.. great images!

I guess it's official - it's a shingle back. Now I've seen the comments that sounds right too. Thanks guys.

So no problems with the distortion in the first 2 shots either it seems. Maybe it's just me.
