art or just a pointy rock?

got these today whilst waiting to collect someone from the airport.
birds were slim pickings so I shot this after the light went.
are these art or just photos of pointy rocks in water??

I like #1 more.
#2 looks more like someone learning to use Bryce, but that's a critique of the content of the image, not the skill of the photographer.

I prefer no 2. It is very artistic and it resembles the pyramids but with water. Great colours

reminded me of egypt whilst I was sitting there watching the sun go down.
Blinkblink, it is water in the background of both of these.

this is just a rock with sharpish edges.
possibly man made, but sticking out of the water so that it looks like a little pyramid

Very rude of me, Steve, not to be discussing your shots.
I like both of them but the colours in the second are really special. Not sure how I feel about the rock or how best to compose the shot for the best impact. I think you've done fine with the two examples you've shown here.
