Top-Hats & a Tea Chest

We went for a little trip up to St. Albans today to take a look at the Folk Festival... A colleague of mine plays mandolins & dulcifer for the strangely named Wheeze & Suck Band.
They were playing in a tent, so the exposure was a little challenging...

The very last shot is the pick of these. I love the intent expression you've captured. The 3rd one (closeup of the hands) is very, very close to being a corker, but is just a smidge too soft for me.

Thanks for the feedback guys...
I gave my colleaugue A4 prints of the last one, the dulcifer and another one of him today and he was thrilled with them...
He also asked whether I might be able to do some promo photos of the whole band...
They are full of character, so I think I might be able to have some fun doing that...
