Our new golden retriever cross labrador pup. Female by the name of Suki (pron' Sue Ki), currently 8 weeks old.
My wifes 50th birthday present (well part of it anyway), after our last boy had to be put down due to cancer about 4mths ago.

Photo taken with two flash heads in brollies, one main light to the left, one fill light behind camera.

PP consists of slight Magenta reduction, Lighten the eyes, Gausian blur around the edges, Slight sharpen using Nik Sharpener Pro.

Print looks a bit sharpher than this (maybe my screen?)

Who cares about the technical aspects of the photo when you're that bloody cute?

Absolutely gorgeous. Anytime you need her to be puppysat, you know who to call. :)

Bernie, Tim,

I'm a labradowner from way, way back; my bestest ever friend was a pure lab officially named Hillburn Rustler, but known as Woodstock to his friends.

I'm sure I have an image or two of him somewhere, but it's not where I expected to see it on the webserver, so I need to dig around for it.

Fantastic puppy portrait Mike. I suspect with this prodigious talent, you may well consider changing subjects for your day job...

Excellent.

Naaah, enjoy going to work each day.

Nothing spoils the enjoyment of a hobby as much as doing it for a living.

After shooting weddings/portraits for over 20yrs I'm happy to relegate this type of photography to hobby status. And would rather shoot myself than shoot another wedding.

Lovely puppy portrait. I'm sure you'll both treasure this photo when she's all grown up.
