On Easter Saturday a few of us took our cameras along to Christ Church Cathedral in Newcastle. They were setting up flowers for Easter Sunday and the place smelt fantastic. Great shots Stubbs. Stained windows are always fun arent they! One of them in there might look a bit better with some perspective correction?

how did you get them so vivid without overexposing them?

Wendell - It was in the afternoon and most of the glass was on the southern side of the church.

I was trying to figure out how you would compose these shots as there was a great deal of dynamic range between the glass and the bricks.

It just goes to show that you lean something new every day.
