On Good Friday a few of us went for a wander along the rocks near Boat Harbour in Port Stephens. The images below are my favourites. Click a pic for a larger version. More images can be found here.

Hi Peter,

last one is very cool. (10.5mm ?)

I prefer the second pic. The composition certainly makes the rock look very imposing and the b&w conversion enhances it.

I like the B&W treatment on the rock, and the last one (10.5 fish-eye?) creates a great perspective...

Thanks for your comments gentlemen. The last TWO were captured with the 10.5 DX fisheye. The one of the rock was corrected in Nikon Capture then processed using the Nik Color Efex Dynamic B & W filter.

In the last image if you look closely you can see nnnnsic far left, shoegirl centre and huynhie on the right (and yours trully in the centre where I'm just a shadow of the man I used to be)

As a fully paid up member of the flat Earth Society I find the last image most offensive. The B&W treatment to the rock is beautifully done!

Ok wendellt you've done it now :) Here I was thinking of the very interesting perspective in the third one(nice shot, love the sense of balance here) and then I can't leave my mind's eye image of a naked minx sensually draped along the knife edge ridge on the rock in #2 whilst dutifully stroking Pirelli 'rubber' . And, for the ladies in our forum....??/!!! nah forget it!!!
Thanks Wendellt that's all I can imagine now when I look at Peter's rock  On second thought it's got to be all your fault Peter for creating the erotic image to start
cheers

Marco,

I'll let your comment go straight through to the 'keeper without offering a shot :)

Peter, all three are great images and I particularly like the shot of the rock. Lovely stuff indeed. BTW, where were these taken?
