A few shots from the Brisbane motor show a few weeks ago.




The Harley Davidson fashion parade. Trying to shoot from within a tight crowd, no flash, hand held, at fairly slow speeds is not easy. Makes me appreciate more, the great work that I have seen from Wendell.

This girl had the best chassis of "anything" on display at the show.
Allthough I do not think much of the cloths as appropriate protective gear for motorcycle riding.


If the last couple are too risque let me know and I will remove them.
C+C welcome. I do know they are pretty ordinary.

even up to now i still tkae blurry runway shots, sometimes i forget when using push and pull zooms(70-200 and 28-70) to wait for the camera to focus before i take the shot hence the slight blur

what lens did you use?

what cars?

The self portrait in the mirror in # 1 is interesting but like every other bloke on this forum number 4 is the pick

Wendell. Kit lens @70mm, 1/90, f4.5 iso500. When I walked in the motor show I stumbled upon the fashion parade by accident. It was just finishing so I decided to go back for the next one to try out some shots. The desire to try some fashion shots was entirely inspired by your work, it had nothing to do with the models.

Mark did not notice the self portrait until you mentioned it. Young bloke in the car is my son, he loved the fashion parade.
