after the zombie walk

I had a chance to shoot with the lovely Dasha again (some of you may have seen her in Saturday's QWeekend magazine in the Courier-Mail) and though tired from being chased by zombies for a few hours I managed to really enjoy this shoot as well.

The point of the shoot was to work on Dasha's folio and that of Marnie the makeup artist. We're all happy with the results.

Mark

These are of your usual high calibre, but #1 is the better. In #2 I'd have liked Dasha's head tilted up just a touch more.

Did you see Dug's post of the zombies?

Great shots Mark. :D Saw the article and thought they may have been your shots but couldn't find any credits.

Hi Mark, I usually really enjoy your work, and unfortunately this time they aren't nearly as affective for me. I think its a combination of less intimate poses and the lack of expression (for me she's a little too dead pan).
That said the lighting, exposure and studio setup are as good as always.

Mark - great work! :)
I can see how they are all happy with the images.
Craig - isn't this gothic type stuff? Shouldn't it have an element of 'dead pan'? :D

Perhaps Geoff, but on viewing Mark's previous work I felt they had more impact possibly due to the more intimate composition and poses, which I guess counteracted the deadpan stare.

Anywuays, we are all different, these ones IMO aren't of the same high standard.

thanks guys :)

Craig, Dasha is actually a rather withdrawn character in general - also somewhat sensitive about her smile, which confuses me as I think it's gorgeous! I might post just one shot of her smiling so that you can see it wont break her dead pan gothic "mould". When she was modelling in Singapore she was in what sounded like a strict modelling school and dead pan boredom seemed to be the flavour of the school.

Slider, the shots in QWeekend were all set up by me people wise but Dave Kelly took the shots.

Stubbsy, I saw Dug's post and I also saw Dug there, though at the time I did not know that it was him. He led the zombie army with such ease, I'd watch that fellow LMFAO
