This is what I was trying for on this corner but unfortunately not all the cars do it when backing off and I missed the front of the car but I am happy with the colour and heat haze - if only the whole front was in the picture..Maybe John got some..

Big V, your right nice flame and the heat haze is good just a shame you lost the front of the car, what lens were you using for this ?

sigma 80-400... shooting atthe 400mm end to blur out the fence. There is always a trade off when you are general admission ticket holder..

Excellent considering it was through the fence.
Was anyone shooting at the track today ? Would love to see some shots of the carnage at turn 8 if anyone caught it.
