Good to see some more shots from your Geoff. I have to say, while both a good shots, I prefer #1 its a lot more engaging, and is a very endearing shot, just beautiful.
Looking at #2, I think while it has captured a lovely moment between the two, her right eye is freaking me out. It a little too far left, and really jumps out on me. The treatment on both works well, IMO, thanks for sharing.

the first one has a really nice feel to it the blown highlights in the background give the picture such an ethereal quality good thing too is the expression it's natural and beautiful The clothes remind me of a piece in the new Fred Bare summer range very beautiful and fashionable work - yeah!

#1 by a mile. A really engaging capture of your niece(?) and the B & W conversion really gives a nice ethereal feel to the image. Peter
