A few candid shots from the other wedding party that were having pics taken last weekend. Same as first wedding, low light but no flash etc so as not to interfere with the pro photogs etc.
Thanks to Padey for reminding me about contrast

- I revisited these and got a bit more aggresive with the local contrast and I think they are a lot better.
C&C appreciated.
Cheers
Judy

Beautiful stuff! The shots of the kids are excellent.
#6 The one with the boy and man looks like it could use warming up a little to me..(uncalibrated LCD though).
#2 Is a great shot, very cute.

Thanks for the comments Craig. You're right about #6, I'm not too good at removing colour casts... it's better than the original though. I need to try again.
#2 She was a real cutie!

Thanks heaps Alex.
The little boy was the eldest of the kids and he was packing a real shitty. Obviously had enough of posing etc. I think this was Dad trying to talk him round - didn't work
LOL.

Gee, thanks Wendell!
The lighting etc is all over the place, it was late afternoon and I didn't use any flash etc. As I mentioned in my other post - I just came across a couple of wedding parties having pics taken, and asked the photographers of the other wedding if I could take some pics. I took lots of the other wedding, and didn't get so many of this one. Light was disappearing fast by the time they came over to the pier. Deliberately didn't use flash as I was trying to be unobtrusive and keep out of the way.
Thanks again

The lighting on these would have been a real test, using no flash and trying to be unobtrusive, so I think you've exposed them really well.
The ones of the kids are bloody great, but the stand-outs are Dad talking to his boy, and the young girl with her hand to her mouth, both are excellent shots, both special moments very well captured... They deserve to be in the album...

The candid kid captures are brilliant especially with the environment you were working with

Keep it up.

Really nice work Judy.
It looked like the kids were starting to expire. Par for course in my experience.

Thanks a lot Padey, appreciate it. The kids had sure had enough, though only the eldest was being a pain. There's a moral in that story - don't have four littlies in your bridal party
LOL.
Cheers
