Dipladenia at sunset

Flowers are not normally my forte, but I spotted these dipladenia in a garden of our friends near Tweed Heads. Taken with my 5D and 135 f/2 L

Nice Sheila!

Great use of DOF, and the colours of the flowers go great with the sky. The sky could have come out blown, but you've kept that hint of pink in it! Nice and sharp also. You sure have a great eye!

i'm not hugely into flower shots etc.. but these are done very well. particularly like the pastel colour carried through in the background.

Nice color and the highlights seem soft and translucent... very nice tones and framing...

Lovely Sheila. The backlighting, particularly the bloom in top right, really adds a gentle softness and tranquility to the whole image. Beautiful
