Very cute yet elusive subjects. Every time i switched back from the long lens to the wide angle they would come close.

First image isnt the best but shows off the colour well, what do you think of the last two?

You've done well to catch these guys, I reckon I'd have no hope strewth that red's bright, I think the last two could be cropped a smidge.

Crop out the purple flower and a smidge off the right in the second, and the dark background area at the top in the first and I think that'd help direct the viewer's eye to the bird.

Looks by the shadows as though it was taken sort of mid-day'ish but EXIF tells me 22:17?
