Little red one

Very cute yet elusive subjects. Every time i switched back from the long lens to the wide angle they would come close. :twisted:

First image isnt the best but shows off the colour well, what do you think of the last two?

You've done well to catch these guys, I reckon I'd have no hope :lol: strewth that red's bright, I think the last two could be cropped a smidge.

Crop out the purple flower and a smidge off the right in the second, and the dark background area at the top in the first and I think that'd help direct the viewer's eye to the bird.

Looks by the shadows as though it was taken sort of mid-day'ish but EXIF tells me 22:17?
