Was taken while doing promo work for a band on saturday night.

The gigs I go to mainly comprise of "hardcore" where the singer and a back up vocalist where one will scream and another will sing. (not really for older folk) but yeh also cover alot of punk type gigs and what not.

It's really interesting to see all the new kinda of dancing that is emerging now, on saturday night guys in the mosh were doing fly kicks and all sorts of things I've only ever heard of. these sort of things can be very dangerous for cameras! I think I need to upgrade my insurance.

I really like the distortion from the angle and close proximity, works well... Only thign against it for me is the busy kit in the background... Maybe if the highlights in the kit were burnt a bit or something maybe?

excellent angle and colour
the wide crop gives it justice too.

I've been using colour filters on my flash alot recently to make images alot more interesting when there isn't much other colour around the place.

thanks for the comment I was hoping the wide crop helped accentuate the angle of the image.
