Rainbow Lorikeet #2

Same perch as last time, different angle, cut back a lot of folliage behind the perch.

On another note, the old folks found out about my lens and I've lived to tell the tale! :)

I really like this shot. The purple flowers in the background really complement the colourful subject.

Lovely shot.

I just feel the bird is a tad too close to the edge of the frame.

Yeah, had to compose it like that. How do you think I got him onto the branch? :)

They're funny sometimes they'll go there without a feeder. Had three there lastnight but the light was in the wrong spot with no feeder on teh branch.

Kept in in the bag and had it locked :)
However they sort of guessed seeing as I had sold the 70-200VR and was stilling going out photographing birds.

I like both of the images. One of my favorite Raibow Lorikeet photos now. :)

Geez Darryl - 1500+ forum members striving to keep your secret and you go and blow it!!! Pleased it worked out all right for you but I guess you're doing the dishes for a while...
